For the 2014 Woodie Awards, Childish Gambino wanted to have a grand entrance to the stage. After seeing the Death Cab for Cutie video, director Hiro Murai contacted me to design the LED costumes for Childish Gambino and 8 costumes and 8 instruments for the marching band. Working with Elise Valasco, we pulled this massive feet off in a matter of 4 days from planning to shipping the costumes to Austin for the show. It ended up being over 900 RGB LEDs that are wirelessly controlled.
